Happy Birthday Monkey. I love you and I miss you. I hope 6 is everything it should be and so much more.
"I see the moon and the moon sees me. The moon sees the one that I want to see. So God bless the moon and God bless me. God bless the one that I want to see."
I love you to the moon and back and from the bottom of the sea. I love you all around the world and for all eternity.

Where Did All That Time Go?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE DUDE!
18 years ago today my world was devastated brightened by the birth of my baby brother. There have been 18 years of screaming fights, a scratch stitches caused by a fall onto a Tonka Truck (Matt's fault, not mine), and a handshake even we haven't mastered yet. When I found out my parents were expecting another child I was not so thrilled but after 18 years of getting to know the little sucker that would change my life I can say my first expectations were right wrong. I love you bud. I am so glad you are in my life. Happy Birthday.

Day: 6
I need inspiration for this one. Anyone who knows me knows one simple fact. I am a talker. Self admitted: talker. For some reason giving me free rain on something that "tickles my fancy" hmm, hello brain? you there? So I will talk about my babies. These two tickle every fancy. I have been on the sick side so I haven't given them much lovin' in the hopes of keeping these germmies to myself. Oh how I love them. Ned and Coco have my heart wrapped around their little paws.
::sigh::

Day: 5
I have a few favorite quotes. These are the ones that sit on a sticky on my computer.
"Forbear, forgo, forgive, forget, applied at opportune moments it can yield a lovely forever."
"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart, I'll always be with you."
- Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh
"Love alone lightens every burden, and makes rough places smooth. It bears every hardship as though it were nothing, and renders all bitterness sweet and acceptable."
-Thomas A. Kempis
"i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart) "

On Bated Breath...
So we should find out on Tuesday where we will be living. Ugh. It is a mixture of excitement and nerves all bundled into one heap of a mess in my stomach. The possibilities seem endless as we wait for a few men who have never met us to decide our fate. It is amazing how much responsibility do these men have on their shoulders as they decide the path of a life. So we should know on Tuesday... but knowing the military we could be kept in suspense.
In the process of waiting we have been living. Life is beautiful. Summer is now in full force. A visit from Mr. L's dad and step mom give him an opportunity to seem family. Beautiful. This man loves his father. This man values his family. What a wonderful man. Today we were able to join our families at the park. We sat around and talked. Some threw outdated weapons at each other. (HAHA). I love my family. I love being around them. I love how they save my sanity as I wait for word on where this path of life will lead to next.
Life is beautiful,

Oh where, oh where, will the L's be?
I have no idea! :) The past few months we have been watching the list for a place we might want to call home for the next few years. For those not associated with the Navy, when it's time to find orders you watch for the billets. When ships need someone for a certain job they post a billet (this part reminds me of the classifieds) Depending on what your rank is and what you do there are certain orders that you can fill (this would be job requirements). If you find something you're interested in you tell your detailer (this would be when you'd fill out an application). Then the new ship decides if you fit what they need (like interviews). We get 3 chances for this to happen, if we are able to get a spot than great, if not they just hand out whatever. (Like if you can't find a job quick enough your wife makes you work at McDonald's). We are now entering the 3rd month. There have been some unfortunate setbacks so we still don't have orders. As of last month the only positions available were in Japan. We are optimistic but know there is a possibility that might be where we are headed. It's amazing how ok I am with that.
Since I have no idea where we will be living in the next 6 months all DIY projects have halted. I have been informed if we go to Japan, space is limited and the homes are small so furniture is only necessities. When we know more I will resume my normal projects.
Until then I will be thoroughly enjoying my summer in beautiful Sun Diego. The next few months will be spent laying by water... whether at the pool, beach, or water park. It will also be spent enjoying my family and friends as much as possible. 3 months of drinking in sun and sand and all the other wonderful things life has to offer.

What a wonderful life for this happy housewife!
